HoneyBaked Catering

The HoneyBaked catering revenue stream is an option for all of our franchisees who want to expand their business. While it does require additional operations, many franchisees find that the catering revenue stream is a great way to keep business booming year-round, not just during the holiday season.

One of Four Revenue Streams

HoneyBaked franchisees enjoy four distinct revenue streams: retail, gifting, lunch and, of course, catering. Our catering service brings delicious HoneyBaked dishes directly to customers’ homes or events so they can share the Worlds’ Best Ham® that they love with the people they love.

Catering is an optional revenue stream for our franchisees. In fact, many of our franchise business leaders recommend that franchisees hold off on jumpstarting their catering business for a month or so after store opening, so they can really nail down our proven operations systems. Once they are pros on the business happening inside of their HoneyBaked store, our franchisees can take their business on the road!

Catering Managers

Many HoneyBaked franchisees with booming catering revenue streams have chosen to hire catering managers to handle the additional operations. Catering managers can handle everything from taking a customer’s order over the phone to making sure the items in the bags match the items on the order form before it heads out of the door with one of your HoneyBaked catering associates.

Some of our franchisees choose to take a hands-on approach to their own catering business while acting as a semi-absentee owner in other aspects of the business, trusting managers to handle day-to-day operations. HoneyBaked franchise ownership is flexible. Many of our longtime franchisees find that their day-to-day roles change and evolve over time.

Catering Operations

When you franchise with HoneyBaked, we trust you to make the decisions that are right for your business. That’s why the expanded operations will include an order form that you create to meet the needs of your staff and customers. Plus, you might need a few more hands on deck to fulfill catering orders, a manager to make sure that customers are getting the care and attention they deserve and associates responsible for getting the food to customers without a hitch.
