Easter is Our First Holiday Season of the Year

A mouthwatering Honey Baked Ham with spiral slices on full display.

If you know anything about The Honey Baked Ham Co.®, you know that our signature spiral-sliced, crunchy-glazed, gold-foil-wrapped hams are a holiday meal staple in every corner of the U.S. It’s true – the holiday season is a big time of year for us and for our franchisees, but the business benefits of the holiday season aren’t limited to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Springing into the Easter Holiday Sales Season

While our stores serve our signature spiral-sliced, glazed hams and our other high-quality, specialty menu items year-round, the holidays are truly when we shine. For us, that means Easter, Mother’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas are our busiest and most eventful times of year. Even though holiday times can get hectic, you’ll be supported by our seasoned Business Consultant team, as well as your fellow franchisees.

After 60+ years of offering America’s Favorite Ham, we’ve got our operations down to a science. That’s why our dedicated Franchise Business Leaders work with each of our franchisees to help guide their holiday preparation efforts. In advance, we’ll support you through inventory planning, planning for hiring and training seasonal crew members to manage the increased demand, and even finding temporary storage – if necessary – to hold all the extra product. A successful Easter holiday season can set the tone for the rest of the year – so we’re here to help you get it right.

The Perks of Seasonal Sale Peaks

Our franchisees love seeing their stores fill up during the holiday rush, in part because of the simplicity of our business model which requires no cooking – all of our products are delivered to the store fully-cooked. Outside of holiday seasons, many of our franchisees take advantage of a key benefit of the HoneyBaked franchisee lifestyle: time.

As a business that stays in operation year-round, owning a HoneyBaked store requires year-round work. But one of the greatest benefits of consistently doing large portions of sales during holiday seasons is that our franchisees can take advantage of the calmer months to spend more time on themselves and their families. You can get involved in your community or your church, you can dedicate time to pursuing a passion or a hobby, you can attend every afterschool soccer game, every weekend dance recital. You can have more time to do what you love with the people you love.

Our Concept Benefits Our Franchisees Year-Round

The Honey Baked Ham Co.® franchise concept provides multiple pathways to earning profits and growing your business. Our four revenue streams – retail sales of our delicious, mainstay products; fresh-made, dine-in lunch in a café setting; catering group events of all sizes; and both individual and corporate gifting – make up a well-rounded, proven business model franchisees can rely on year-round. And with the rollout of delivery and online ordering partnerships, our franchisees can maximize their bottom line even further.

Here at The Honey Baked Ham Co.®, the holidays are more than just holidays. The exciting hustle of our busiest times of year are a big part of the HoneyBaked experience that we get to share as a franchise community. And we wouldn’t want it any other way.
