Matt Davis took the stage at the 63rd International Franchise Association Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, to receive a very special award. The IFA selects outstanding individual leaders to receive its Franchisee of the Year Award. With over 1,400 franchised business members and all their franchisees, there are many impressive candidates vying to win this award.
Nominated by their parent company, franchisees are chosen for their service to their communities, helping and enlivening the workforce, supporting fellow franchisees, and promoting the franchise business model. Before this year, a HoneyBaked franchisee had yet to claim this top prize!

Matt Davis ended 2022 by signing the largest franchise development agreement in HoneyBaked’s 65-year history. Under The Davis Restaurant Group, they will add seven additional stores across four states through 2025, making it the most prominent franchise group within the HoneyBaked franchise system with 13 locations. Buoyed by HoneyBaked’s three generations of product innovations and excellent support structure, Matt is expanding on the legacy his father established in 1998 as one of the original HoneyBaked franchisees. The Davis Restaurant Group appreciates our #HAMFAM, enjoys serving others, and prioritizes giving back to their communities.
